Overview

Masters & Savant is scaling up for a high-end, photoreal CG project starting in the new year. We are looking for Senior, Lead, and Mid-level Houdini and Previz artists to join our team for a 4-month full-time contract.

Availability and Engagement

This is a fully remote engagement, but candidates must be available to collaborate during South African Standard Time (SAST) business hours.

Roles and Qualifications

• Houdini Artists (Senior & Mid-Level) – Strong generalists capable of delivering high-quality photoreal results.
• 3D Previs Artist – Strong cinematic eye to handle layout, blocking, camera layout, pacing, and accurate scene scaling.

Advantageous Skills

• Look development and simulations; Experience with Redshift.

Software Proficiency

• Flexible (Houdini, Cinema 4D, or Blender); Focus: Camera layout, pacing, and accurate scene scaling.
