A leading FMCG company in South Africa seeks a dedicated forklift operator to manage stock within a busy environment. Responsibilities include loading and offloading trucks, maintaining neatness of the forklift, conducting equipment checks, and adhering to health and safety standards. Candidates must have a Grade 12 qualification and a forklift license, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience in the FMCG sector. This role may require working weekends, shifts, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 qualification.
• Forklift License is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Loading stock and placing replenishment stock.
• Neatness of forklift and equipment checks.
• Load and offload trucks; transport raw materials.

Purpose of the job

• Loading stock within the department. Receiving and placing replenishment stock, in designated areas

Responsibilities

• Neatness of Forklift
• Load and offload of trucks
• Transport and stack raw materials
• Housekeeping
• Pre-operation checks and reporting issues.
• Moving pallet packed materials around the site or storage facility.
• Checking and ensuring loads are secure.
• Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Following written instructions and keeping records.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
• Ad hoc tasks
• Cording to laid down specification, Neatness of Forklift, Load and off-load of trucks, Transport and stack raw& packaging materials following FIFO, Responsible for waste management, Housekeeping,
• Completes and verifies records to document all work.
• Responsible for picking goods, packing stock in the warehouse.
• Ensuring all items are stored in correct locations
