Overview

Msuez Uk is a leading transportation and logistics company with operations in South Africa. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fleet Controller to join our team in Johannesburg South. The Fleet Controller will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our fleet, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods and services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of vehicles
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of vehicle locations, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services
  • Coordinate with maintenance department to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles
  • Track and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall operations
  • Train and mentor new drivers on company policies and procedures
  • Prepare and submit reports on fleet performance and expenses to management
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in fleet management or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
