A healthcare group in South Africa is seeking a finance professional to assist in managing fixed assets and project accounting. This role includes overseeing financial reporting, accounts payable for projects, and team supervision. Candidates should hold a B.Com in Accounting or Finance, along with substantial experience in corporate finance, fixed asset accounting, and SAP ERP systems. This position offers an opportunity to ensure compliance and drive improvements within the financial domain.
Assist in managing the company's fixed assets and project accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Overseeing the financial lifecycle of fixed assets and building projects includes project cost tracking, processing diverse asset transactions, calculating depreciation, and ensuring appropriate capitalisation in line with company policies and accounting standards. The role also manages accounts payable for building projects, approves capital purchase orders, supports capital budget and project creation in SAP, and supervises administrative functions to ensure quality, performance, compliance and informed decision-making.
