About the job Financial Manager (East Rand) Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Financial Manager for our client. This role is suited to someone with strong management accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to guide financial decisions that improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Cost and financial control

Oversee financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

Ensure accurate and complete monthly financial records in line with accounting standards.

Monitor expenditure, implement cost-saving initiatives, and drive financial efficiency.

Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and monthly financial packs.

Analyse results against budgets and forecasts, highlight variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Support and oversee stock counts, cycle counts, and variance investigations.

Provide reporting and analytics on warehouse and inventory performance.

Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

Identify and manage risks within the finance function.

Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Accounting (NQF 7 minimum).

5+ years experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and reporting.

Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
