You will oversee financial activities including accounting, budgeting, and risk management while collaborating closely with the Executive Team. The Finance Executive is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring robust financial governance, and supporting sustainable business growth.
This role oversees all financial activities including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and risk management while aligning with Group-level policies and objectives.
The role acts as a key business partner to the Executive Team and collaborates closely with the Group CFO and Managing Director to support strategic decision‑making.
Develop and execute the financial strategy in alignment with Group financial objectives.
Provide strategic input to business planning, investment decisions, and long‑term growth initiatives.
Act as a key advisor to leadership on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, medium‑term plans, and rolling forecasts.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all financial planning processes.
Monitor performance against targets and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Oversee timely and accurate daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure submission of accurate results into Group financial reporting frameworks and templates, including Board review processes.
Provide detailed variance analysis and insight‑driven commentary to Group CFO and Managing Director.
Implement and maintain strong internal controls in line with Group policies and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Identify, assess, and manage financial risks related to operations.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including liquidity and credit management.
Ensure robust insurance coverage and asset protection practices.
Oversee working capital, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity management.
Provide rigorous oversight of debtors cash collection processes to manage cash inflow risk.
Manage banking relationships and payment process integrity.
Ensure prudent investment and financing practices.
Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive profitability and cost efficiency.
Provide financial modelling, business case analysis, and decision support for major projects.
Champion data‑driven decision‑making and performance improvement initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Promote a high‑performance culture, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
Ensure succession planning and capability building in the finance function.
Provide regular strategic and operational updates to Group CFO.
Ensure alignment between financial operations and Group directives.
Support Group‑level initiatives, systems, and transformation projects.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Professional qualification (CA or equivalent) required
Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance
Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross‑functional stakeholders
