Job description

Overview

• Leading the annual budget preparation process and monitoring performance against budget.
• Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
• Producing rolling forecasts, cashflow projections, and variance analysis.
• Overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Providing financial analysis to support pricing decisions, capital investment, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Providing financial modelling and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Managing day-to-day cashflow, banking, and treasury functions.

Qualifications

• Accounting honours level qualification (BCom Hons / CIMA).
• 5–7 years’ experience in finance roles
• Minimum 2 years in a controller position
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, stock control, and margin analysis
• Strong technical accounting skills, including IFRS.
• Good understanding of SA tax laws.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
