We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to monitor financial data and prepare accurate financial statements. The role involves budgeting, reporting, internal audits, and ensuring that all financial records are well‑organised and reconciled. Responsibilities
  • Prepare underlying working papers for external audit purposes.
  • Compile and analyse budgets.
  • Liaise with external auditors during audit processes.
  • Manage financial statement audits and other agreed engagements.
  • Examine, analyse, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements.
  • Prepare annual, interim, monthly financial statements and management accounts.
  • Organise, prepare, and review bookkeeping transactions.
  • Gather and monitor financial data such as sales revenues and liabilities.
  • Identify, investigate, and report on accounting discrepancies.
  • Conduct risk analyses for potential investments.
  • Analyse financial trends.
  • Perform month‑end and year‑end close processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6‑7 years of experience in a financial department.
  • Budget preparation and analysis experience.
  • IFRS statutory reporting experience (essential).
  • Extensive CaseWare experience (essential).
  • Tax experience (essential).
  • Sage ERP experience (advantageous).
  • Additional certification (e.g., CPA) is beneficial.
  • Experience with consolidations is advantageous.
