MAIN PURPOSE

Senior Analyst within Chief Finance Office will be responsible for the following:

To support the Reporting Lead by utilising analytics to examine business drivers and provide insights that explain financial variances and customer behaviour. This role will leverage data driven analysis to enhance forecasting accuracy and identify opportunities for business improvement. The Finance Data Analyst will play a crucial role in delivering detailed analytical and actionable insights to drive informed decision-making and support the organization’s strategic goals.

KEY OUTCOMES
  • Tracking of key profitability metrics
  • Interactive dashboards that track and display key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • In-depth analysis of key business drivers and their impact on financial performance.
  • Identification of trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analytical projects

Requirements

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum: 5 years experience ideally in the following discipline: (Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Quantitative Analysis, Mathematics or Statistics)
  • Proficiency in coding languages like SAS; Python; SQL; MSSQL Server administration is an advantage; Redshift development is an advantage
  • Practical experience in using analytics to solve complex business problems would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
