A recruitment agency is seeking a Finance Payroll Administrator in Gauteng to handle daily bookkeeping on Sage/Xero, manage the entire payroll cycle, and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a BCom Accounting or similar qualification, strong accounting skills, and experience with PaySpace, Sage, or Xero. Financial Accounting
  • Day‑to‑day bookkeeping and transaction processing on Sage / Xero
  • Creditors capturing on Sage / Xero
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Budget reconciliation, tracking and reporting
  • General support to management with financial insights
Payroll Administration
  • Capture and process monthly payroll
  • Run the full payroll cycle end to end
  • Ensure accurate deductions, allowances, and payments
  • Submit payroll‑related statutory returns
  • Maintain payroll records and employee data
  • Liaise with HR where required
  • PaySpace experience will be a strong advantage
Requirements (Essential)
  • Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes
Beneficial
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or IT environments
