A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Financial Accountant Operations to oversee accounting responsibilities up to trial balance and manage a junior team. The ideal candidate will have a CA(SA) or CIMA designation, with at least 5 years of accounting experience and 2 years in a supervisory role. Knowledge of ERP systems and experience with cross-border transactions are advantageous. The position is based in Midrand, offering a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in managing/supervising a team.
• At least 5 years' experience in an accounting role.
• Cross-border/international experience - Middle East and Africa (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for accounting up to trial balance.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Coordinate with finance team for timely delivery of trial balances.
