Overview

Description/Synopsis: Join a leading multinational manufacturing business as Finance Manager – Shared Services, reporting to the Finance Director. This role is pivotal in driving financial efficiency, governance and compliance across the group. You’ll manage a diverse finance team and lead areas such as reporting, intercompany transactions, treasury, cost accounting and internal controls, while supporting operational and strategic initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
  • Qualified CA(SA); CIMA will be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years post-articles experience, with at least 3 years in a similar financial management role
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, internal control frameworks and financial best practices
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment essential
  • Experience in a multinational reporting environment
  • Knowledge of SYSPRO ERP system highly desirable; Advanced Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, board and governance packs, and holding company reporting
  • Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations and eliminations
  • Oversee general ledger integrity and accuracy
  • Supervise the Accounts Payable team and oversee fixed asset accounting and verification processes
  • Budgets and Forecasting: Collaborate on annual budgets and long-term financial plans
  • Lead treasury functions including cash flow monitoring and banking relationships
  • Implement cost accounting methodologies and analyse cost structures
  • Coordinate insurance policy renewals and claims processes
  • Drive annual budget preparation and long-term financial forecasting
  • Establish, monitor and improve internal controls and oversee internal audits
  • Provide financial support to other business entities ensuring compliance and operational alignment
