A multi-national company, that leads a diversified investment portfolio with companies in the IT, property, and manufacturing (to name a few), is looking for its new Finance Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities


  • As the Finance Manager you would be required to present complex data in a way that others can understand, take responsibility for a range of accounting duties while maintaining high-quality accountancy practices and working procedures, coupled with financial stability and helping to drive the company forward.

  • Manage internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.

  • Manage budgets and prepare forecasting reports.

  • Analyse financial reports and present findings to the exco team and board.

  • Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.

  • Analyse market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities.

  • Identify risks, propose solutions and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Research and report on business performance influences.

  • Prepare and present statutory accounts – Including monthly, half year and year close.

  • Management and submissions of all taxes, VAT and HMRC across South Africa and United Kingdom.

  • Manage the purchase and sales ledger.

  • Preparation of asset lists and management of such.

  • Responsibility for accounts receivable and payable ledgers.

  • Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting entries.

  • Preparation and delivery of management accounts and solvency.

  • Maintaining and supervising the human resource processes such as Payroll, Payment releases, employment PAYE.

  • Work closely with Operations Director to strategically manage financial KPI's and targets.

  • Client debtors and creditors: Management of Age Analysis with Operations.


Skills and Qualifications


  • Bcom Accounting degree.

  • 5 Years experience in a management level.
