Position: Finance Manager

Location: Pretoria

Salary: R55pm - R65pm

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards
• Reviewing work completed by Accountants
• Compiling intercompany loan schedules
• Posting month-end and year-end journals
• Handling statutory submissions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations
• Preparing income tax and provisional tax returns
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing correspondence with SARS
• Leading and developing the finance team
• Liaising with auditors and preparing audit information
• Monitoring and managing cash flow
• Overseeing accurate payroll processing
• Approving credit applications
• Implementing and monitoring internal financial controls
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes

What You Need to Succeed

• CA(SA) preferred
• Minimum 2 years post-articles experience
• Strong IFRS and taxation knowledge
• Solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards
• Strong analytical ability with a process-improvement mindset
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Skilled in team management and coaching
• Proficient in MS Office (excellent Excel skills essential)
• Experience with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit processes
• Exposure to financial systems (experience with Sage is a plus)
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
