A financial institution is hiring a Finance and Admin Office Assistant to step into a vital role within a small, supportive team. You will play a central part in ensuring smooth back‑office operations and providing essential administrative and financial assistance during a maternity cover period.

The Role
  • Act as the day‑to‑day administrative liaison with Head Office contacts in Finance and HR.
  • Serve as the local point of contact for external accountants and service providers.
  • Process payment transactions in line with established controls and procedures.
  • Support accounting administration, payroll, and statutory payments (PAYE and SARS).
  • Maintain organised electronic records and liaise with auditors.
  • Coordinate office supplies, IT equipment procurement, and team events.
  • Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and wider team.
  • Assist with ad‑hoc tasks to ensure business continuity during the maternity cover period.
