Job description
Responsibilities
  • Servicing client devices onsite
  • Be able to perform logical troubleshooting on a wide range of client devices
  • Perform IT related troubleshooting
  • Perform software support including firmware, installation of devices
  • Perform hardware related troubleshooting on Copiers and Printers
  • Perform PM services to reduce client failure
  • Ensure that calls get done within SLA once received.
  • Perform Quality work including firmware updates on devices
  • Ensure that preventative maintenance done as per schedule
  • Manage Boot stock of toners and spares including submitting job sheets
  • Ensure accuracy of boot stock
  • Boot stock done monthly
  • Accurately operating of the mobile app (tech connect)
Qualifications
  • Minimum Grade 12 Qualifications
  • Driver's License
Experience
  • Two-year experience in the office automation industry
  • Previous field service experience
  • High Volume device experience is an advantage
  • Networking and understanding software will form part of the duties
  • Able to use manuals to troubleshoot as the position will often be in areas where support reception is poor
  • Must have experience on printer and copiers
  • Good communication skills both with clients and with management
  • Skills relevant to a job include education or experience & specialized training
  • Time Management Ability to work independently
