Responsibilities
- Servicing client devices onsite
- Be able to perform logical troubleshooting on a wide range of client devices
- Perform IT related troubleshooting
- Perform software support including firmware, installation of devices
- Perform hardware related troubleshooting on Copiers and Printers
- Perform PM services to reduce client failure
- Ensure that calls get done within SLA once received.
- Perform Quality work including firmware updates on devices
- Ensure that preventative maintenance done as per schedule
- Manage Boot stock of toners and spares including submitting job sheets
- Ensure accuracy of boot stock
- Boot stock done monthly
- Accurately operating of the mobile app (tech connect)
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 Qualifications
- Driver's License
Experience
- Two-year experience in the office automation industry
- Previous field service experience
- High Volume device experience is an advantage
- Networking and understanding software will form part of the duties
- Able to use manuals to troubleshoot as the position will often be in areas where support reception is poor
- Must have experience on printer and copiers
- Good communication skills both with clients and with management
- Skills relevant to a job include education or experience & specialized training
- Time Management Ability to work independently
