Role Overview

We are seeking a driven, confident, and self‑motivated External Sales Representative (Sales Area Manager) to join our Port Elizabeth team. This role focuses on achieving monthly sales budgets, nurturing existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, completing site visits, and managing day‑to‑day sales administration, reporting, and installation scheduling/sign‑off processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
  • Proactively identify and secure new business throughout the Eastern Cape region.
  • Conduct on‑site assessments, measurements, and technical evaluations for client requirements.
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and product solutions.
  • Coordinate installation schedules and ensure proper project sign‑offs.
  • Complete weekly and monthly sales reports and administrative tasks.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times and uphold brand reputation.
Minimum Requirements
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable own vehicle.
  • Based in Port Elizabeth with willingness to travel extensively within the Eastern Cape.
  • 3–5 years’ external sales experience, preferably within racking, shelving, material handling, or related technical/industrial products.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and operate with minimal supervision.
