Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the PPE industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients to foster loyalty.
  • Develop and grow new accounts, ensuring they transition into long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account development in the CRM system.

Overview

Our client, a well-established supplier in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Working at Heights (WAH) industry, is looking to appoint a young, dynamic External Sales Representative to join their Pretoria-based team.

This position is ideal for a candidate with a passion for sales and business development, who is eager to grow within the safety gear industry and establish strong client relationships in the region.

Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business, managing client relationships, and promoting a wide range of PPE and WAH products. The role involves external client visits, lead generation, and ongoing account development, with significant room for growth and earning potential.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development
    • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the PPE industry.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
    • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and client visits.
  • Client Engagement
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients to foster loyalty.
    • Present and demonstrate a range of high-quality PPE & WAH products, emphasising their value and benefits.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their requirements are met with appropriate solutions.
  • Account Development
    • Develop and grow new accounts, ensuring they transition into long-term partnerships.
    • Monitor and report on client feedback to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Administrative Duties
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account development in the CRM system.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.
Minimum Requirements
