Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking for an Exports Coordinator to join their team based in Elandsfontein (Gauteng).

Duties & Responsibilities
Purpose of this position :

Be responsible for the planning and execution of all shipments with specific focus on administration, excellent customer service, management of export documentation from order receipt to delivery, monitoring arrivals and / or departures including the forwarding and clearing of orders.

Educational Qualifications :
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Certificate / Diploma in Exports or related field is advantageous.
Experience :
  • 2-3 years in Exports administration.
Duties :
  • Processing Quotations / PFI Manually, as well as processing Export Orders on SAP.
  • Generation of a manual Picking Slip and liaison with Warehouse on order status, pallet loads, releasing of Invoices.
  • Creating of PRs for Transport Charges, Insurance quotes and Inspection Charges.
  • This includes MIGO and ensuring payment.
  • Constantly updating customers and the Warehouse on order status.
  • Creating Commercial invoices and separate invoices for items not manufactured locally.
  • Completing SADC certificate for locally manufactured goods.
  • Fill in Shipping instructions forms for the transporters collecting.
  • Ensure that all documentation meets SARS requirements.
  • Assist with Export queries, short deliveries and investigations on price errors and discrepancies.
  • Daily Feedback and discussions with CDC and update Priority List for next day.
  • Monthly sales report per customer.
  • Attend Exports meetings and keep minutes.
  • Record keeping of documentation.
  • Solid understanding of Incoterms and the application thereof to ensure smooth export transactions and avoid unnecessary costs.
