Export Markets Channel Sales Specialist Sub‑Sahara

As an Export Markets Channel Sales Specialist for Sub‑Sahara countries, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Implement a strategic annual export business plan to drive sales growth and maximize demand for prioritized SIBG and TEBG portfolios through distribution partners in Sub Sahara and SADC countries.
  • Identify additional opportunities for accelerated growth, which will require intensive travel to countries within the region.
  • Proactively lead the joint business planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to enhance customer engagement and identify opportunities in key markets.
  • Collaborate with the export operations team to enhance the customer experience and optimize service levels for customers.
  • Ensure full adherence to 3M compliance policies and procedures.
Your Skills and Expertise
  • Education: higher degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
  • Advanced experience in sales generation and channel management.
  • Successful remote management and team engagement skills in former positions.
  • Strength in communication, networking, and motivation.
  • Growth mindset combined with an entrepreneurial approach, essential for developing business in underpenetrated markets.
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable with remote working and cross‑cultural team engagement.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to speak a language spoken in the territory to which they are assigned will be favourable, but not essential.
  • Prepared for intensive travel within the region.
