Job description

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented ex-crew professionals to join our team as Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinators. In this role, you will assist with candidate recruitment, project coordination, and end-to-end onboarding. Your shipboard experience will be invaluable in guiding new candidates through the process and ensuring they are fully prepared for their journey at sea.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the recruitment process by screening applicants, conducting interviews, and assessing suitability based on cruise line standards
  • Manage candidate pipelines for specific cruise line clients and job roles
  • Coordinate onboarding processes, including documentation, medicals, training schedules, visa arrangements, and pre-departure briefings
  • Communicate with cruise line representatives to ensure timely follow-up on assignments, approvals, and deployment dates
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to first-time seafarers based on your own shipboard experience
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and track progress using internal systems
  • Assist with internal projects related to talent development, academy coordination, and compliance
  • Participate in career fairs, training seminars, or webinars, where applicable
Requirements:
  • Previous cruise ship experience in any department (F&B, housekeeping, entertainment, deck/engine, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of shipboard operations and crew life
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks or projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online collaboration tools
  • Recruitment or HR experience is a plus but not required; full training will be provided
