A growing food business is seeking a proactive, well-connected Sales Coordinatoron a part-time basis(10-15 hours per month), to assist with securing pop-up trading opportunities and corporate catering bookings.
This role is focused on identifying, approaching, and closing opportunities at high-footfall events, including but not limited to:
School markets and fundraisers
Rugby festivals and sports tournaments
Music festivals and community events
Corporate catering and office-based events
This is a remote, work-from-home role that requires strong outreach, relationship-building, and sales follow-through
Key Responsibilities
Identify upcoming schools, markets, festivals, and public events suitable for food pop-ups
Proactively contact event organisers, schools, sports clubs, and market managers
Secure bookings for food stall participation
Negotiate basic event terms, including fees, dates, and participation requirements
Identify potential corporate catering opportunities (offices, launches, team days, staff events)
Reach out to HR teams, Office Managers, and Event Coordinators
Promote catering offerings and convert leads into confirmed bookings
Build and maintain strong relationships with organisers and decision-makers
Once an event or booking is secured, hand over liaison to the operations team
Maintain a simple record of leads, bookings, and confirmed events
Provide weekly progress updates, including pipeline and confirmed sales
Strong communication and basic negotiation skills
Confident making calls, sending emails, and following up
Previous experience in sales, events, hospitality, food, or catering (advantageous)
Highly organised, reliable, and self-motivated
Comfortable working independently and managing own time
Existing contacts within schools, sports clubs, markets, or corporates are a strong advantage
A self-starter who enjoys selling and closing deals
A people-oriented individual who thrives on relationship-building
Results-driven with a practical, hands-on approach
