Hire Resolve's client is looking for an experienced Equity Analyst to join their team of professionals in Cape Town.

Responsibilities
  • Content development and delivery:
    • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and interpret information requirements
    • Finalising commentary with internal stakeholders and data checking
  • Interpersonal & development:
    • Knowledge sharing - share and transfer product, process, and systems knowledge to colleagues
    • Share success stories, trends, and ideas
    • Bring any issues to the attention of the Head of Distribution Services and resolve these
    • Collaborate and work with teams to deliver required service in excellence
    • Ensure your performance and growth objectives are achieved by developing your Fairtree Individual
    • Growth Journey to facilitate personal and professional growth
Requirements
  • Appropriate finance qualification, eg. CA(SA), Bcom Investment Management, CFA
  • BEng or LLB qualification also considered
  • 2 – 3 years working in financial markets within the fund management industry.
  • 4 - 5 years work experience
  • Financial modelling (in Excel)
  • PowerPoint proficient

  • Being process driven, good at problem-solving and innovative
  • Being a team player and a good communicator with a belief in strong, open and honest relationships with internal and external stakeholders (incl. service providers)

  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with automation tools will be advantageous
