Job summary

A leading environmental management company in Gauteng is seeking an Environmental Management Specialist to implement and execute the Environmental Management System. The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma or higher qualification in environmental management and at least 4 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, obtaining environmental approvals, and conducting training on safety issues. Strong knowledge of environmental assessments and excellent leadership skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • 4 years related experience with National Diploma in Environmental Management.
  • 3 years related experience with B Tech in Environmental Management.
  • 2 years related experience with BSc in Environmental Management.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the Environmental Management System based on ISO standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Execute the process to obtain Environmental Approvals.
  • Monitor Environmental Management Systems for waste, water, and pollution prevention.
  • Conduct training on occupational safety.
