Job summary

A leading cybersecurity firm in Johannesburg is seeking a high-performing direct-sales professional to drive new business acquisition in the cybersecurity domain. The role focuses on six- and seven-figure sales, requiring strong consultative selling skills and an extensive knowledge of cybersecurity solutions. Candidates should have a proven track record in end-customer sales and the ability to engage with senior decision-makers, as well as a willingness to travel across South Africa and into Africa.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of direct end-customer cybersecurity sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently close six- and seven-figure deals.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity solutions including various disciplines.
  • Consistent over-achievement of sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Execute full-cycle direct sales from outreach to close.
  • Run consultative sales engagements based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Engage with C-level and senior decision-makers.
