Job summary

A leading training provider in Rustenburg seeks a Technical Trainer: Engineering (Rigger) to enhance workforce competency through effective training initiatives. Ideal candidates must possess a Valid Rigger Certificate and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are crucial for supervising training staff and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role also involves designing learning materials and conducting assessments. Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in line with employment equity policies.

Qualifications

  • Valid Rigger Certificate (Section 13) is essential.
  • At least 3 years of working experience as Rigger artisan.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office is essential.
  • Assessor and/or Moderator qualification will be an advantage.
  • Completion of Winder Rigger modules will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective supervision of training staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
  • Continuously revise current learning material.
  • Design and develop learning material.
  • Conduct training and coaching of trainees.
