Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Preparation and management geometric design models and drawings for roads and other road related structures
  • Preparation and management of road geometric designs and drawings, reports, bill of quantities
  • 3D design and modelling of roads and associated infrastructure
  • Applying the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) in all work
  • Knowledge of Geometric Design Codes, Drainage Design Codes and other relevant standards will be a benefit
Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • High competency and specialist design and 3D modelling of roads and associated infrastructure
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the design and modelling of roads, and associated infrastructure
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Civil3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads
  • Good knowledge of the SANRAL and Western Cape Provincial Governments design procedures will be a benefit
  • Experience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA, Canada and Australia will be considered favourable
  • Experienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise
