Our client in the Manufacturing Sector is currently looking to employ an experienced Electrical Technician to join their dynamic team in Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities
- Conduct daily planned and preventative maintenance on electrical and automated systems.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
- Ensure all electrical components and parts are available in time for scheduled work.
- Perform diagnosis and root cause analysis on equipment failures.
- Implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring electrical faults.
- Maintain accurate records of downtime, faults, and corrective actions taken.
- Provide support to production on electrical issues and process improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure equipment is operating to quality standards.
- Use and maintain statistical process charts to monitor equipment performance.
- Ensure workplace adheres to safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 (minimum).
- Qualified Artisan (N5) - Trade Test.
- Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of automated manufacturing equipment (including PLCs and robotics).
- A good understanding of quality requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Ability to perform fault-finding and root cause analysis on electrical systems.
