Responsibilities

Job description

Job Purpose

To perform electrical maintenance and repairs on ERWAT wastewater and Water Treatment equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with Supervisor on a daily basis to discuss previous day's maintenance and determine maintenance schedule (ad hoc and routine) for the day.
• Determine material tool requirements for the day and submit requisitions for the purchasing of equipment material to the Supervisor.
• Maintains workshop equipment, tools, vehicle for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety.
• Circuit testing new installations.
• Maintenance and repairs on motor control centres that includes variable speed drives and electronic motor protection systems.
• Assist the immediate supervisor with general administrative tasks as may be required from time -to -time.

Minimum Requirements

• Electrical Tade TestCode EB
• Driver's License
• Minimum 3 years working experience as an Electrician preferably in wastewater and water treatment industry.
