Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electrical field on rotation machinery.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the tyre manufacturing and automotive industry will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and resolution to Electrical Breakdowns.
  • Carry out Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
  • Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data.
  • Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid state equipment.
  • Analyse and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.

Skills

Good knowledge of Programmable logic Controllers (PLC)
Understanding of production technology in tyre manufacturing
Problem solving
Teamwork

Education

National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering
