A well-established organisation within the premium consumer and skincare sector is seeking a strategic and hands-on Digital & eCommerce Manager to lead and execute digital marketing and online sales initiatives. This is a full-time, office-based role based in Edenvale, Johannesburg.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for driving digital performance across multiple channels, optimising eCommerce platforms, and managing agencies to ensure alignment with commercial objectives. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, executional capability, and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated digital marketing strategies in collaboration with leadership.
  • Manage digital agencies, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, timelines, KPIs, and budgets.
  • Oversee paid media, SEO, content marketing, and customer relationship management activities.
  • Lead bottom-of-funnel performance marketing initiatives to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Maintain a digital campaign calendar aligned with commercial and promotional cycles.
  • Execute multi-channel campaigns across email, social media, search, display, and website platforms.
  • Conduct A/B testing and use analytics to optimise campaign effectiveness.
  • Optimise the eCommerce website with a strong focus on UX, UI, conversion, and customer journey.
  • Support influencer and content strategies for paid media campaigns.
  • Implement loyalty and retention initiatives to increase customer lifetime value.
  • Track and report on digital KPIs, ROI, and competitor activity.
  • Ensure budget control and oversight of agency billing.
  • Coordinate pricing updates, website content changes, and eCommerce sampling programmes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Education teams.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Communications.
  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience in digital marketing and eCommerce roles.
  • Proven experience managing eCommerce platforms, social media channels, and CRM systems.
  • Experience within the beauty or skincare industry is advantageous.
  • Category management exposure is advantageous.
