Role Purpose

Lead the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data from multiple sources to generate clear, actionable insights. Provide analytical leadership by guiding analytical standards, ensuring data quality and governance compliance, and translating complex data into meaningful narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

Qualification

  • 3-year degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or similar (Essential)
  • Post Graduate or MBA

Experience

  • 8 years’ experience in data analytics or a related field (essential)
  • Proven experience leading analytics initiatives or mentoring analysts
  • Experience translating business problems into analytical solutions

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the gathering, analysis and interpretation of data, identifying patterns, trends and insights that inform business strategy and performance.
  • Translate analytical outcomes into clear, accurate and accessible insights that support consistent, informed decision-making at operational, tactical and strategic levels.
  • Define and oversee detailed specifications for data sources, data flows, transformations, storage and reporting.
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of analytical artefacts including source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and logical and physical data models.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define analytical requirements, master and metadata definitions, and implement scalable analytics solutions.
  • Champion enterprise and divisional data standards to improve data quality, governance compliance and analytical consistency.
  • Promote reusability, maintainability, reliability and scalability in analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure the responsible handling of live and confidential data in line with governance and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assess and manage the impact of changes to source systems on reporting, analytics and downstream business decisions.
  • Lead the design and delivery of professional dashboards and reports that support executives, management and operational teams.
  • Oversee testing, validation, reconciliation and data quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of analytical outputs.
  • Ensure accurate attribution of data to financial and operational cost drivers.
  • Communicate analytical progress, insights and outcomes through compelling data visualisations and narratives.
  • Lead the development of analytical and financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning and decision-making.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for optimisation, growth and risk mitigation through advanced analysis and insight generation.
