Overview

As a Creditors Clerk, you will manage and maintain the wineries supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.

Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments
  • Allocate bank statements to supplier accounts
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes
  • Load payments via Internet Banking
  • Support the finance team with general administrative tasks
Skills & Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Creditors Clerk or similar financial role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Matric/Grade 12 (relevant bookkeeping/accounting qualification is advantageous)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Experience with EZYWINE software is advantageous
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • A passion for wine and appreciation for the industry is a bonus!
