Creative Video Editor

We're looking for an exceptionally creative video editor who can produce modern, luxury-style social content, fast‑paced, polished, and synced seamlessly with layered audio design.

This role goes beyond basic editing: you'll be responsible for pacing, transitions, typography, and ensuring sound syncs that elevate our content and produce scroll‑stopping videos.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short‑form and long‑form video content for social media, thought leadership, and campaigns.

Design fast‑paced sequences with multiple transitions within seconds, keeping content visually engaging.

Integrate dynamic typography and animated text overlays that sync with narrative pacing.

Layer and mix audio tracks, including:

  • Base music tracks for flow.
  • Percussive hits, risers, drops, and effects for impact moments.
  • Syncing beats with on‑screen actions (zoom, text flip, light change, etc.).

Collaborate on storyboarding to ensure visuals and sound are mapped to the intended mood / brand positioning.

Deliver polished content optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.

Skills & Experience

Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve with Fusion).

Sound design/music editing ability: layering tracks, syncing effects to beats, creating soundscapes.

Mastery of pacing: matching cuts, zooms, and transitions with rhythm and music.

Typography animation and creative use of fonts/colors in motion design.

Familiarity with social‑first storytelling and audience attention dynamics.

Bonus: experience working with brands in healthcare, luxury, or professional services.

Obsessive attention to detail (every cut and sound hit must feel intentional).

Ability to translate abstract ideas (“make it feel luxury, cool, modern”) into concrete edits.

Comfortable with iteration loops: refining video and audio together until they flow seamlessly.

Creative risk‑taker who can suggest transitions, effects, and music directions.

Stays up to date with modern editing styles, TikTok/IG trends, and high‑production video aesthetics.

Compensation

Freelance contract.
