Job description

- Collaborate with the production team to create costume designs that align with the overall vision and theme of each production or event

- Research and source materials, fabrics, and accessories to bring the designs to life

- Create sketches, renderings, and specifications for each costume, including details such as fabric type, color, and trimmings

- Oversee the construction and fitting of costumes, ensuring accuracy and quality

- Collaborate with the hair and makeup team to ensure a cohesive look for each performer

- Manage costume budgets and track expenses

- Maintain and organize costume inventory, including repairs and replacements as needed

- Work closely with performers to ensure their comfort and mobility in their costumes

- Attend rehearsals and performances to make any necessary adjustments or repairs

- Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas to the design process

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Costume Design or related field

- Minimum 2 years of experience in costume design, preferably in a theatrical or entertainment setting

- Strong knowledge of fabrics, sewing techniques, and costume construction

- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or SketchUp

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
