A leading mining company is seeking a Coordinator for their Operation Control Centre at the Mamatwan Mine in Hotazel, Northern Cape. This full-time role involves coordinating production activities, managing safety standards, and ensuring effective communication across the production team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in mining operations, knowledge of fleet monitoring systems, and a strong understanding of mining safety protocols. The South Africa Manganese operation is located in the manganese-rich Kalahari Basin in the Northern Cape, which hosts 80 percent of the world\'s manganese. This position is based at our open-cut Mamatwan mine.
This is a permanent full-time position.
As a Coordinator Operation Control Centre, you will coordinate production activities across surface operations, ensuring accurate hourly, shiftly, and daily performance updates. You will identify and communicate emerging issues, initiate safe and timely responses, and ensure adherence to safety standards, emergency procedures, production parameters, and operational requirements. You will coordinate emergency and incident responses across the operation.
