A leading manufacturing company in Germiston seeks a skilled professional to drive the World Class Manufacturing programme and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate must hold a relevant engineering degree and have over 8 years of experience in manufacturing processes. Strong coaching abilities and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor of Engineering or Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering. Must have previously been a World Class Manufacturing Instructor with at least 8 years’ experience in a Production or Process discipline within a continuous process manufacturing environment. Candidate must have three years’ experience working with continuous improvement programmes such as World Class Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Process Control. This role requires a person with the ability to coach and develop others; the ideal candidate will influence others effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
The purpose of this role is to deliver and drive the World Class Manufacturing programme to the required standards, rigor, and pace to meet plant objectives. The candidate will need to coach and develop others, possess good communication skills, and have the ability to audit according to set protocols to ensure WCM methods are correctly applied.
