Consumables Sales Manager
Our client, a large blue chip company based in the Vaal Triangle, has a vacancy for a dynamic, energetic, and target-driven individual with the following experience.
Job Purpose
A sales representative plays a crucial role in the company's success by promoting the company values and selling its products or services to customers. The primary objective is to identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and market share. The role requires networking, building sustainable relationships, enhancing customer experience, generating leads, presenting products/services, and closing deals.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Grade 12 (matric certificate required).
- Proven success in a similar role with at least 3-4 years of experience in business development and sales. Formal recommendations are advantageous.
- Experience with OEM, Paper, Furniture, Stationery, Computing, and Interactive Boards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses to understand their needs and position the company’s products/services as solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Project accurate forecasts, identify prospects, and report on customer requirements.
- Conduct market research to discover new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
- Complete required training to enhance product knowledge.
- Comply with company policies and regulations.
- Travel as needed to engage with potential clients through visits and direct interaction.
- Manage customer relationships.
- Handle administration related to the sales cycle and daily operations.
- Investigate and validate reports.
- Prepare accurate reports on daily operations.
- Support and collaborate with other departments.
- Address customer queries and complaints.
- Deliver sales presentations and negotiate deals.
