SUMMARY:
Role Purpose: The Commercial Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales across both personal and commercial insurance lines. The role focuses on converting leads into sales by offering bank-approved insurance solutions for residential homes, commercial properties, and related insurance products. This position operates within a target-driven call centre environment and requires strong commercial insurance knowledge and relationship‑building capability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Lead Conversion
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients who have recently purchased properties, with the objective of generating quotes and closing sales.
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective lead management and consistent follow‑ups.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs on an ongoing basis.
Product Knowledge & Advisory
- Commercial Insurance for properties purchased by businesses but used for residential purposes.
- Commercial Insurance for properties purchased by businesses for business use.
- Commercial Insurance for properties purchased by trusts.
- Sectional Title Insurance.
- Position insurance products effectively by understanding client needs and offering appropriate solutions.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and sales records on the CRM system.
Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with the sales team to optimise sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
- Continuously enhance sales skills and product knowledge through training and professional development, including learning to utilise AI tools to support sales activities and client engagement.

Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ commercial sales experience within a call centre environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a high-volume, target-driven role.
