Job description

As a strategic advisor to the executive team, you will optimize all people-centric activities and drive major change initiatives that support growth, strategic execution, and cultural transformation. The CPO oversees all human capital areas: talent management, learning and development, performance and reward, transformation, sustainability, labour relations, and employee experience. You will contribute to strategy formulation, governance, risk management, and operational oversight, ensuring that all HR strategies and policies empower the business and foster a high-performing, inclusive organization.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing innovative people plans and policies, supporting talent attraction and retention, enhancing development and succession planning, and driving organizational and cultural change. You will champion transformation, sustainability, and CSI efforts, advise on compliance and governance, and maintain relationships with stakeholders to deliver on diversity, inclusion, and ESG objectives. Coaching leaders, advising on complex people matters, and building a trusted human capital function are core to the role.

Candidates must hold an Honours degree (Masters preferred) in human resource management, have at least 10 years executive experience in people management, and demonstrate expertise in strategy, governance, transformation, and stakeholder engagement. Strong leadership, communication, analytical ability, and experience influencing at all levels are essential.
