Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead and execute change initiatives within a high-pressure balance sheet management environment. This role spans key areas, including Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Treasury, and Risk Management. The ideal candidate will excel in managing both the technical and human aspects of change, leveraging advanced methodologies to ensure seamless adoption of new processes and systems. By driving collaboration, addressing resistance, and fostering alignment with organizational objectives, the Change Manager will play a pivotal role in stabilizing operations, enhancing business integrity, and creating a structured environment for sustainable improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Change Management Frameworks: Implement and adapt structured change management methodologies and governance structures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  2. Facilitation & Collaboration: Lead solution-oriented workshops, remove roadblocks, and guide cross-functional teams toward actionable outcomes.
  3. Tracking & Coordination: Develop robust tracking systems to monitor progress across projects, ensuring timelines and tasks are adhered to and delays are proactively managed.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build effective communication plans, address resistance, and secure stakeholder buy-in through tailored messaging.
  5. Impact Analysis: Conduct readiness assessments and identify areas requiring additional resources or support to facilitate smooth transitions.
  6. Change Strategy Execution: Create detailed change plans aligned with business goals and drive execution across teams.
  7. Training & Support: Design training programs and provide transitional support to help employees adapt to new processes.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Monitor change adoption metrics, gather feedback, and refine methodologies for ongoing improvements.
  9. Project Management Integration: Utilize hybrid methodologies to balance iterative progress with critical path requirements, ensuring seamless project execution.
  10. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks and manage dependencies to align project outcomes with business-as-usual operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Informatics, or a related field.
  2. Project Management certifications such as CAPM or PRINCE2 (advantageous).
  3. Certification in Change Management (beneficial).
  4. 3–5 years of experience in project and change management, ideally within financial markets, trading, or risk management environments.
  5. Proven ability to lead stakeholder engagement, facilitate workshops, and conduct impact assessments.
  6. Familiarity with information systems implementation and related change practices is highly desirable.
