Key Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) SA
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CFO role. Extensive financial experience
- In-depth knowledge of the FMCG sector and its business dynamics
- Strong leadership ability
Duties
- Financial Planning & Reporting: Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts; Prepare comprehensive financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with all regulations and internal controls
- Financial Strategy & Operations: Design and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals; Manage cash flow and optimize profitability across the business
- Investor Relations: Build and manage relationships with investors, providing key financial insights and overseeing funding or investment strategies as needed
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, including tax and accounting standards
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and maintaining data integrity across financial operations
- Advisory Role: Offer financial insights and advice to the executive team on critical commercial and business decisions
- Process Improvement: Continuously enhance financial processes and leverage new technologies to drive efficiency
