Overview
G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, is inviting individuals to apply for a Cash Processing Centre (CPC) Manager based at our offices in Durban.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all cash-related activities, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, implement company procedures cost-effectively, manage CPC staff, and improve profitability.
- Effective management of Cash Processing Centre Operations: ensure adherence to policies and procedures, provide performance information, manage reconciliations, authorize EFT payments, ensure staff have necessary tools, maintain equipment, and comply with legislative and company standards (including SARB, Health and Safety, security, HR, finance, and risk).
- Effective management of Cash Centre staff: set behavior standards, manage housekeeping, implement cost-saving models, manage budgets, wages, and overheads, prevent claims, optimise labour and organisation, ensure adequate staffing, oversee employee records, identify and arrange training, succession planning, promote personal development, monitor motivation levels, conduct disciplinary actions, hold staff meetings, and maintain trade union relationships.
- Effective management of Customer Relationships: maintain customer retention and service levels, manage SLAs, and investigate customer queries and complaints.
- Effective management of the Risk process and Compliance: monitor loss prevention and reduction, ensure adherence to procedures, utilise company systems, and maintain audit records.
- Health and Safety: report and discuss safety incidents, follow up on safety activities, attend safety programs, comply with policies, and distribute safety information.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Tertiary qualification in banking, financial services, or general management preferred; valid driver's license.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience, knowledge of Cash Centre policy and procedures, relevant SARB legislation, HR policy and procedures, Health and Safety legislation, and a sound understanding of financial information.
- Skills and Attributes: written and verbal communication, intermediate MS Office (Excel), Google, ability to report and analyse information, awareness of market environment, delivering strategy, driving change, staff management, working with complexity, managing professionally, customer focus, and collaboration.
The successful candidate will be required to work night shift.
