Job Description
  • Under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, perform detailed Building Civils designs and calculations for Civil/structural systems in commercial and industrial fields for both reinforced concrete and Civil/structural steel.
  • When required assist with Revit/Civil 3D modelling.
  • Take responsibility for design and drawings.
  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
  • Be part of a project team, liaise with other professional team members and contractors.
  • Attend planning, design and site meetings, and ad-hoc site inspections.
  • Work to ensure the implementation of safety and integrity principles in Civil/structural documentation.
  • Promote compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures for all design activities.
Qualifications
  • 0-4 years’ experience in design of Building Civils/Concrete and structures.
  • Technical Competence – understand core engineering theory from first principles and be able to extend theory to new and complex problems
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of structural analysis software like Civil 3D / Etabs / Robot / Civil 3D.
  • Revit/Civil 3D knowledge will be advantageous.
  • B.Eng. Degree
  • M.Eng. Degree preferable
