Job summary

A recruitment agency based in George is seeking a candidate to handle client calls professionally. Responsibilities include assisting with policy queries, processing updates on CRM systems, and capturing client details. Candidates with Grade 12 or equivalent, and 1-2 years in customer service, particularly in insurance, are preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential. The role offers Monday to Friday hours with training provided.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years Call Centre or Customer Service experience (insurance experience is an advantage).
  • Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound client calls in a professional manner.
  • Assist customers with policy queries and product information.
  • Process policy changes and cancellations on CRM systems.
  • Capture accurate client details and maintain customer records.
  • Resolve customer issues and escalate when necessary.

  • Assist customers with policy queries, product information, and cover explanations
  • Process policy changes, cancellations, and updates on CRM systems
  • Follow up on outstanding documents and client requests
  • Capture accurate client details and maintain customer records
  • Provide quotes (if licensed / qualified) and generate leads for sales teams
  • Meet daily productivity and quality targets
  • Resolve customer issues and escalat(e) when necessary
Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Minimum 1–2 years Call Centre or Customer Service experience (insurance experience an advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal & written
  • Computer literate with strong typing & CRM system skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high call volumes
  • Patient, client-centred and professional phone etiquette
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday 7h30 – 17h00
  • Every 2nd Saturday – 8h30 – 13h30
  • Training provided
