Overview

Purpose of the Role

The Process Engineer (Business Process Analyst) will lead strategic reengineering and transformation initiatives across the organisation. The role focuses on business process optimisation, end-to-end client journey improvement, and ensuring adherence to recognised engineering and process design standards. The incumbent will drive continuous improvement, identify efficiency opportunities, engage stakeholders, and support organisational change by establishing process baselines and redesigning workflows to enhance operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business process reengineering and optimisation initiatives across multiple business areas.
  • Analyse, map, and baseline current processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Design optimised future-state processes that enhance performance, customer experience, and compliance.
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions, workshops, and interviews to gather insights and validate process changes.
  • Ensure alignment of process designs with business strategy, operational goals, and engineering standards.
  • Drive process automation, digitisation, and workflow optimisation initiatives.
  • Facilitate change management activities and support adoption of new processes.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior analysts, developing process design skills within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business owners, IT, product, operations, and project managers.
  • Ensure process documentation, controls, and governance standards are maintained.
  • Support Agile delivery streams with process insights, requirements, and continuous improvement feedback.
  • Monitor implemented processes and measure post-deployment performance improvements.
  • Attend onsite sessions when required, even outside the standard hybrid schedule, based on project demand.

Minimum Requirements

  • IT-related qualification (degree or diploma)
