Overview

A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join their BI team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development, maintenance, and support of BI solutions, as well as ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the company’s data-driven decision-making processes.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• MS BI certification advantageous
• Minimum 2 years’ proven experience as a BI Developer with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI
• Experience with data modelling and designing scalable data warehouses
• Knowledge of BI best practices and data visualization techniques
• Strong SQL skills, including advanced queries, views, and stored procedures
• Experience with ETL processes and tools
• Familiarity with PHP & MySQL and cloud technologies (advantageous)

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BI solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and other BI tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate data requirements into effective BI solutions
• Provide day-to-day support for BI systems, troubleshooting issues and ensuring data accuracy
• Design and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for ETL and reporting
• Create and maintain BI documentation, including data models, processes, and reports
• Participate in the full software development life cycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment)
• Work with business users to refine requirements for BI projects and deliver actionable insights
