Overview

Business Analyst – Immersive Digital Experiences - Cape Town | Hybrid | Permanent - R600k CTC (negotiable)

Our client designs exceptional software and digital experiences for physical spaces. From retail environments and live events to stadiums, visitor attractions, DOOH networks, and smart infrastructure — they fuse technology, hardware, data, and immersive AV to create environments that engage deeper, operate smarter, and leave a lasting impact.

They’re scaling fast and are looking for an A-star Business Analyst to join their Technical / Development team — someone who can bridge business, software, hardware, and user experience to drive the next phase of growth.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years’ experience across Business Analysis, QA Testing, Product Ownership, Technical Support, or Software Project Management
• Strong hands-on experience testing both software and hardware
• Familiarity with Jira, Slack, DevTools, and Figma
• Working understanding of HTML and CSS, with curiosity for software development
• Experience across Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS environments
• Comfortable working in Agile / iterative development teams
• Exposure to IoT, AV systems, kiosks, or hardware/software integration is a strong advantage
• Willingness to take on broader responsibilities within an Agile Working Model

What You’ll Be Doing

• Writing clear development briefs, technical documentation, and user stories
• Owning the QA process: test plans, execution, reporting
• Configuring web applications and email templates using HTML, CSS, and JSON
• Working hands-on with physical devices — touchscreens, kiosks, cameras, PCs, and embedded systems
