We’re looking for a senior Payments Consultant / Technical Business Analyst to lead high-impact payment initiatives for leading financial institutions. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role for a payments expert who can operate independently, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver end-to-end solutions across modern payment platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Act as a trusted advisor on payment systems, regulations, and emerging technologies
• Lead requirements, solution design, and delivery across complex payments projects
• Define payment strategies, roadmaps, and future-state architectures
• Design secure, scalable, and compliant payment solutions
• Facilitate workshops, drive stakeholder alignment, and own delivery outcomes
• Support pre-sales, proposals, and solution presentations
• Mentor consultants and contribute to thought leadership in payments

What You Bring

• 10+ years’ experience in the South African payments ecosystem
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of PayShap, DebiCheck, EFT, RTC, and card platforms
• Exposure to alternative payments (wallets, mobile, retail/telco solutions)
• Proven experience in solution architecture and systems delivery
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• AWS and/or Azure exposure preferred
