Job summary

A prominent security service provider is seeking a professional to manage operations at their Queenstown CIT branch. The role involves ensuring client needs are met efficiently, maintaining regulations, and overseeing security staff performance. Candidates should possess a matric certificate and PSIRA Grade A registration, alongside 5 years in the security sector. Leadership and strong communication skills are crucial. The position also requires relocation within reasonable distance to the branch and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the security industry.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements.
  • People management experience.
  • Administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills are required.
  • Strong planning, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Own reliable transport and valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Living within a reasonable distance from the branch or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the client.
  • Maintain good relations between the company and the client.
  • Evaluate service levels and recommend improvements to the client.
  • Ensure Security staff maintain required performance.
  • Handle all required administration matters.
  • Liaise daily with Executive management on operational issues.
  • Submit relevant weekly/monthly reports as required.

Job description

The above position is vacant at Queenstown CIT branch, reporting to the Regional General Manager.

The overall purpose of this position is to ensure the effective and efficient operations of the Branch and ensuring that all site specific security requirements are adhered to and that the client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times.

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric certificate, PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the security industry.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements.
  • People management experience.
  • Administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills are required.
  • Strong planning, leadership, organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Computer literacy on Microsoft Programs.
  • Own reliable transport and valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Living within a reasonable distance from the branch or willing to relocate

  • Submitting relevant weekly / monthly incident and general reports as required by Senior Management.
